Bobbi Brown

Hi everyone! My name is Ava Allred. I’m 20 years old and currently on my own fitness journey. I have created this blog to help others around my age that are wanting to begin their fitness journey but have no idea where to start, just like me at the end of 2022. I hope to inspire those viewing this to begin taking care of their bodies not only for their physical health but for their mental health, too!

You would be surprised at how life-changing taking care of your body can become. Your skin and mind are clearer, your hair is healthier, you begin to visibly glow, and best of all, you grow to absolutely love yourself and who you are becoming! As soon as you begin to see results in your mind and body as an outcome of your hard work and consistency, the pride you feel in yourself is indescribable. Yes, it can be frustrating at times. We all love food and we all have our bad days, but consistency is key, and I am here to help you be the most consistent you can by eating right and moving your body. Dieting does NOT have to be miserable! We don’t have to be hungry before bed every night. I am here to help you EAT, but eat foods that fuel your body in ways that grow muscle and shred fat. Please take a look around my website to find some recipes, exercises, and tips/tricks to help you get started in your fitness journey.

A Little More About My Journey

In December of 2022, after being completely inactive for about a year and a half (due to starting college and no longer playing sports), I decided to start lifting weights consistently. I just wanted to get my body moving and feel better physically and mentally. I created a workout split (a set of exercises that target a different muscle group each day of the week) and stayed consistent for the full month of December. In January of 2023, I came to the realization that if I wasn’t eating like I should, all of this working out, though it was better than nothing, would not help me progress as much as I wanted. I officially began my body recomposition journey, which is done by remaining in a caloric deficit containing high protein while consistently lifting weights. Since January, I have been counting my macros (protein, fats, and carbs) daily and working out five days a week. The results I have seen are amazing, which is why I want to share this method with everyone! I have more energy now than ever and more confidence than I ever have before. I hope that I am able to help some of you begin your fitness journeys with the least bit of stress as possible!
